Steel Tree @ Settlers

Decided to walk down for dinner. We've had hit and miss meals in the past but this time the food and service was great. We gave the feedback to the wait-staff, too, which they appreciated. Very enjoyable. Nice atmosphere in the deck area. I'm glad we gave it another go. Arancini (Goats Cheese & Roasted Capsicum) and Corn Ribs with Garlic Butter and Parmesan for entrèes, then Garlic Prawns (which was a very generous serve) and Fish & Chips for mains. Very nice.

We have been to steel tree for at least half a dozen times because it was the middle point for the family who lives scatterly to gather. First thing first, the admostphere is very welcoming in both daylight and night time. The staff members always look after us well. Through out the years, they always retain the high standard of service. I remember, there was once, i ordered a medium steak but it was too bloody to me, the waitress came i and helped with the situation prompty. The drinks are affordable. Highly recommened bloody mary.....yummmmmmm both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of their food ever. This time , i ordered creamy garlic prawns that came with rice. The dish costed 36 or 38$ , i could not seem to recall. However, it was just a plate of small rice on the side and a pile of what-occured-to-me tiger cooked prawns that you buy from frozen section. I was not very happy with it. Forgot to take the picture but there is exact same garlic prawns in the other plate to share for 2 people that you can see. I mean, you can just give me 5 nice good prawns with tasty sauce and i will be happy with that. We pay for quality not quantity. Overall, I properly has to go back there again on family gathering. I may have more update then :)
